Our Process

Top to bottom, in four steps.

Every chimney gets the same careful path. Scroll to see how we inspect, clean, waterproof and repair a masonry chimney, from the cap down to the hearth.

01 / 04

Inspection

A camera travels the full height of the flue. We check the cap, crown, liner joints, smoke chamber and damper, and record what we find in photos and video. Inspection & cleaning

02 / 04

Cleaning

Brushes and HEPA vacuums clear soot and creosote from the liner, smoke chamber and firebox, so the chimney drafts cleanly and the fire risk drops. Inspection & cleaning

03 / 04

Water Intrusion

Rain finds the weak points: an open flue, a cracked crown, tired flashing. We cap, seal and replace them so water stays out of the masonry. Water intrusion prevention

04 / 04

Repair

Spalled bricks are replaced and worn mortar joints are tuckpointed, restoring the strength and the look of your chimney. Masonry
