Blackburn Chimney LLC (“Blackburn Chimney,” “we,” “us”) is an Oklahoma limited liability company based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This policy explains what personal information we collect through blackburnchimneyco.com, by phone, and by text message, and how we use it. What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us when you use our contact form, booking calendar, or “Text us a photo” upload, or when you call, text, or email us:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- Your city or service address
- The service you are interested in and your preferred date and time
- Your message or notes, and any chimney or fireplace photo you upload
- Whether you checked the box to receive text messages from us
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) in server logs so the site can run and be protected from abuse.
Cookies and analytics
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies. The only thing our site stores in your browser is your light or dark theme preference, saved in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device.
How we use your information
- To schedule and confirm appointments
- To prepare quotes and estimates, including reviewing photos you send
- To communicate with you about your request, appointment, and service, by phone, email, or text
- To keep basic business records and comply with the law
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not send marketing messages unless you separately ask us to.
Service providers
We use a small number of trusted companies to run our business. They process your information only on our behalf and only to provide their service to us:
- Vercel hosts our website and stores form submissions and uploaded photos in private storage.
- Resend delivers form submissions to our team by email.
- Quo (OpenPhone) provides our business phone line and text messaging.
- Microsoft 365 provides our business email.
No selling or sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose information only if required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you check the text message box on one of our forms, or otherwise ask us to text you, we will send texts about your request and appointment, such as confirmations, reminders, quotes, and replies to your questions. Checking the box is optional and is not required to request service. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep it
We keep lead and customer information for as long as we need it to serve you and keep reasonable business, tax, and warranty records, generally no longer than five years after our last contact with you. Requests that never become a job are typically deleted sooner. Server logs are kept only briefly by our hosting provider.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Email info@blackburnchimneyco.com or text (918) 992-2023 and we will respond within 30 days. We may keep limited records where the law requires it. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
Protecting your information
We use reputable providers, private storage, and encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and we limit access to our team. No method of transmission or storage is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above.
